Wow, does that model Kitchener's entire army?  #:-S

Now you've set a standard we will expect 50,000 screaming Dervishes in the next 2 months.  :)

:-[ Ooops! I should have looked at the previous thread. You did them first.

I must say a you have built two beautiful armies.  :-bd

Thanks to all for the complements.  I am not the best painter.  We usually have about 6 people+ when we game, so we need enought for everyone to be involved.

We are using modified The Sword and the Flame.  1 Stand equals 1 fig. see thread - http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,4475.0.html

I still have some irregular cav and camels to paint, but no bases! Working on a village and some Palm Tree bases.  I still need a few more Camel Corp, Indians, Mounted Infantry, Turbanded Ansar, Unarmored Cavalry, which are fantastic figures, plus some other stuff.

I have a game at Cincy Con the first of MArch.  Will post pics from that.

I think I will start an Italian army and Abyssanian army next. then move to the Northwest Frontier.  Still have  amedieval army to paint up.

Plus I would like to make another steamer and some dhows. The llist never ends!

Fuzzy Camels, Egyptian Camels, and Gardnet guns would be nice added to the wish list.  I know th Fuzzy on Camels are coming, but the sooner the better!

Well it begins again.  I jjust placed an order with the Warstore, Neal is awesome by the way, for the few odds and ends that I need. And I just placed an order with Litko for more bases.  When all this is painted, I think I will work on creating an Abyssinian and Italian armies.  Just need figure out what to use for figures.  I think the British will work for regular Italians and the Early German Askair for Askair.  Rugga Rugga will work for Abyssinian, and maybe some of the Dervish.

Request for Nordfelts, Gardners, Fuzzy Wuzzy on Camels, Egyptian Camel Corp, Italians, and Abyssinians!

I'm going to be sawing Brits off their camels and glueing on half Egyptians to make the camel corps. But the Fuzzy camel riders have been promised for later this year, and Nordenfelt guns aren't hard to scratchbuild on a standard chassis.

Ah, the poor beasts!!!  :o

Oh, wait a minute, it's even worse! If we assume two packs per camel, they'll have to carry 30 of them! How do you fit them all in! And what if these are also loaded!!! Ow, my head hurts! And no doubt the back of that poor camel too!!!
