Otto von Pivka "Armies of the Napoleonic Era" gives the 11th Grenze/ 2nd Banal as having crimson facings.
Gregory Fremont-Barnes "Arms of the Napoleonoic Wars" says the brown jackets were not worn until after the 1809 campaign.

Greetings

There's information on the grenz regiments in 1809 at http://www.napoleon-series.org/military/organization/Austria/ArmyStudy/c_AustrianArmyGrenz.html - received wisdom these days is that no or virtually no regiments had received brown coats for the 1809 camapaign.  See also http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=103836
