Base sizes Andy are 30x30 for infantry, either 3 or 4 to the base, depending on whether regular or militia/light/Indian
30x40 for cavalry, 3 figs facing the short edge
40x40 for Arty, 1 gun and crew

Sequence is pretty much PP Standard

Attacker goes 1st

Brigade general makes an activation roll for one of his units (this is based on General quality, Unit quality and distance), if successful the unit rolls for number of action points, then does what it can with these. Repeat this for the next unit until the General fails the actrivation roll. Then onto the next Brigade general.

Then onto Defender.

Defender rolls a d6 then subtracts that from the "countdown" (normally starts at 21), if the countdown reaches zero or less its "Game-Over Man!!!"

A fine set of rules with a bunch of historical scenarios and all the army lists you'll need included in the book.
