Title: WW1 Figures Suitable for WW2.
Post by: YORSTONS on 14 April 2010, 10:29:32 AM
Leon can you tell me if your WW1 Indian troops are suitable for use as WW2 Indians, are they wearing putees and trouses or do they wear shorts. Also is there a diffrence in the wheels for the 18pdr, was the WW2 version equiped with tyers as opposed to spoked wheels. I am asuming that your WW1 Aussies are ok to use as WW2 far east troops wearing shorts?

I am trying to work out suitable figures for the Malay campaign in 1940 in anticipation of you releasing WW2 Japanese (VERY BIG PLEASE).

The WWI Indians are in puttees.  The 18pdr looks like a 25pdr but with a different barrel.  You're fine using the Anzacs for far east troops.

Cheers Leon,

And the Japanese????????

I did drop a hint in a thread a while back, but maybe it was a bit too subtle.  :(

We'll hopefully have a package arriving in the post at the end of this month, and as always, the Forum members will be the first to see them!

Subtle's not going to work with us Leon - better off hitting us round the head repeatedly with a housebrick with the message written on it I reckon  :P 8)

We also spoke to one of the vehicle designers at Triples about the Japanese armour, so that will be on the way as well.
