Title: Request for photo of AH7
Post by: Sunray on 07 December 2011, 03:08:17 PM
I have been requested to paint up some Pendraken figures for a ' Prisoner of Zenda'modest  scanario based on the uniforms sported in the 1952 movie.

Apart from loads of FrancoPrussian range potential, I am interested in AH7 -a cat in a crested hat- does anyone have an image of this figure ?
Also seeking an 1870s  "BKC" style  of rules for this era.  - and any advice on basing for skirmish type engagements.  Has anyone played 'They died for glory' or 'Volley and Bayonet' ?

For rules try Black Powder.

There are similarities as both BKC and Black Powder use the basic mechanisms "borrowed" from Warmaster.

I use Black Powder for 18th century and find they give a good game.

Alternatively you could try Fire and Furia Francese, a Fire and Fury adeptation

Volley and Byonet are great at Corp level and I feel, although at times simplifying combat, work really well for multi-corps games, one caviet is they do have 'paperwork'. I would recommend them, just a pity no one else down my club really likes them  :(
So we went BP instead, on teh same size bases, they're GREAT!  :D
