Title: Chinese and Japanese in the Korean War.
Post by: FierceKitty on 20 November 2011, 12:01:35 PM
The Chinese army took a walloping this time. There was nothing that could stop those wretched Japanese lancers, and the matchlocks took a dreadful toll of my levies.

I love an army with banners. Is this part of a campaign?

I've never tried a P. and S. campaign, though I have toyed with the idea of a role-play version where the GM controls Chinese forces with unlimiited resources and the Japanese players all have secret agendas involving personal rivalries and quests for glory (at the expense of strategic decisions, of course).

Our club has played a Diplomacy-style Renaissance campaign for getting on for seven years now. Players come and go, alliances switch and betrayal's the name of the game. Wonderful stuff and very easy to manage.  :)

But it was the mainlanders who had flamethrowers, not the Japanese!
