Nik is correct in everyting he says here. George Nafziger used to sell these OOBs but on his retirement he decided to contribute the whole collection for free.

It is for the same source of data but lays out the OOBs by century, and if you look at the codes you can often get a clue to what they contain. I just find it easier to browse using this method.

Be aware, however, that some of the Orbats, particularly for the earlier periods, actually contradict each other. The Marlburian ones in particular need careful sifting and comparison to get a correct listing. There are also several interesting typos in some of them. Hardly surprising in 7000 plus documents, I suppose.
This is where you can go to download OoBs from the huge Nafziger Collection 1640 to 1945. Be warned though, the Napoleonic section alone amounts to 107MB and contains over 800 files. Each historical section comes down complete as PDF files in zip form.

Good stuff. I downloaded the PDFs for the Napoleonic period but found all the titling of the files (except for the year) somewhat vague. Guess I'll just slowly work through them renaming as I go :-\
Yes, it's bit of a task. The first three figures of the code is the year, which narrows things down a bit. Haven't sorted out the rest of the codes yet but I'm sure there's a logic there somewhere.
