Title: A Romanian coastal artillery battery
Post by: lentulus on 26 October 2011, 12:30:31 AM
An obsolete position, defending some little known bend of the Danube or the Dniester?

In any event, project started, pics on my blog:

Hi lentulus

Looking good, seems like it could be the centre, or component, of some interesting scenarios  :).

Don't be too fast to jettison the fortress piece, here is an 1878 howitzer used in 1944:-

You could always have the brave Romanian Mountain cavalry riding to the rescue  :):-
