I feel these two periods are:
a) underepresented
b) quite good for 10mm gaming, especially the sikh wars where you have tow regular european trained forces (the EIC and the Shiks) plus lost of irregular stuff.
Arrigo
Sounds like a good project. Count me in.

This period has come up in discussion with the Minehead crew as well so there's a few more votes 8)
León
I would like it
Thanks
Yes please ;)
Yes please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome Arrigo. Indian Mutiny is a must really. The Sikhs and the Afghans (1st War) would also give a good game. There are some bell top shako infantry in the 1st Schleswig War range.
I would love to see a Sikh wars range.
Sounds like a good idea.

I do have some masters for the indian mutiny, Indian irregular foot.

Arrigo, I can confirm that the Sikh Wars are good for gaming. We've been doing this in 6mm but 10mm would obviously work just as well. Dr Mark Smith has been compiling a set of scenarios for use with the BBB rules. I've posted a couple of reports of these on my blog.

So since there has been interest in an Indian Mutiny line for a number of years, and it's number 1 on the request list....will we see it anytime soon? :P
There is the possibility of some crossover between the Mutiny and Sikh Wars - HEIC uniformed troops will serve both as mutineers and in the Sikh Wars. Likewise bdmashes and the dross of the bazaar can equally be used in both. To be sure there would need to be specific codes for British forces suitable for Sikh Wars OR Mutiny and likewise the Khalsa would need its own set of codes. This the two concepts are not entirely exclusive but the ranges would need to be conceived in tandem irrespective the order in which they were sculpted.
Bill, that was a grammatical and logically structured paragraph. Are you sure this forum is the right place for you? One typo, in an attempt to fit in, just won't do.
I must say the new boy does seem to be trying hard to impress, several sensible informative posts :-/ :-S
Not what I am use to here at all ;D
Drink helps!
Arse, girls!!!
I believe Brother Leman is quoting the scripture according to Father Jack of Craggy Island, a wise and just man of the cloth, as exhibited by his collective teachings herein:

Warning: not safe, at all, ever, and definitely not for work!
Is that so now Father? Go on, go on, go on!!
This figure is a Pendraken 10mm ... and that one is far away.
Oh, so it is. And there's me thinking it was 2mm.

Is there any prospect for Indian Mutiny figures coming out?

They will do at some point, but it's likely to be 2017 at this point. We've got some WWI additions to finish off this year, then a new 1860's Italian range and then we'll be able to start looking at the Indian Mutiny.
......and...
Oh...There WAS something else, wasn't there ?. :-\..
Tip of my tongue....
Begins with an 'A'...
.........No, it's gone...I'll remember when I'm not thinking about it.

Jog your memory?
Apaches? I'd like to see some Apaches.
I thought that was Conan the Barbarian with a headdress.

Oh look! There's a bloke in the picture too!
2017 works for me. I have to finish my ECW before starting a new period. 😋
Sikh Wars? Count me in for several packs of anything in that line. Would be great to combine with Mutiny, Opium Wars and First Afghan (and Crimea) and maybe even Abyssinia. Makes for another nice cluster like the late 19th century one in Colonial. Hell, I'd buy all of these in bulk.
:D
I'd get some Sikhs too as part of a Napoleonic wars in India range,
Mark

Seriously though... I'm currently working on a massive SAW/NWF project, which I'd happily expand to Fuzzy-Wuzzies, Boers, Zulu's, Matabele and Boxers (and even Russians vs Central Asians have been considered),
but
I'm actually aching to start a second, equally massive project/cluster of projects around the middle of the 19th century: Sikh Wars, Crimea, Mutiny, Taiping, Opium Wars, Maratha etc.
:P
Mr Zulu has a Matabele and some Boxers!
Thou speaketh in riddles, good Sir...
'Mr Zulu' whossat?
Wasn't he on the Enterprise? Sorry, just having a bit of Fierce Kitty-style fun with the apostrophe :-[
With the release of Helion's Sikh Wars guide Khalsa!, I'd really like to see a Sikh Wars range. I imagine alot of items in the Mutiny range could do double duty, Maybe some uniformed Sikh regulars, Akalis, etc.
