Title: ww2 numbers in parenthesis
Post by: ciaphas on 13 October 2011, 05:25:21 PM
hi, its been a while since i have made a ww2 order and trying to finish of my airborne troops, so quick question, the numbers in paarenthesis are crew numbers not the number of weapons.

I am primarilly interested in the mortars and vickers.

cheers

jon

I am sure there was an easier way to ask that question.

No, the number is the number of weapons. So MG42 Team (3) means 3 MGs each with crew (typically 2 crew per gun)

Busy at the moment putting a little flesh on the Army pack listings, Leon will be updating these after the show season is finished. It might make things a little clearer, who knows?  :-\

Yep, as Fred says, it's the number of guns in a pack.  So the Vickers has 3 guns, each with crew, something like the 6pdr A/T (2) would have two guns and crews.
