Very nice, thanks for posting! They'll get a shock when that space cruiser arrives on the table... 8)
Nice Tom - makes me want to get mine sorted :)
Looking forward to seeing these in action too 8)
Hi Tom
Very good! I would be interested in hearing about your painting techniques especially on the Sudanese (including the camels) and are the flags homemade?
Like Nik, I'll have to start my Mahdi army (someday) and will look forward to your further photos & batrep
I use Vallejo paints. Also, just to let you know, painting horses and camels are not at the top of the list. I painted the camels first, then the tunics and then started on details. finally doing some touch up on the camels and tunics where needed. Dervish, paint the skin color and then the tunics and minor parts finished by touching up as needed. I am not the best painter, but from 5 feet away they look ok to me.
The flag bearers are just the spear removed and a piece of brass glued in.
The Flags came from the warflag site and just reduced to different sizes. I thought the bigger flags for the camel unit would be nice looking on the table.
I will try to take some pictures during the game tomorrow and pst them.
Tom
Looking really good :)

It's image 8 as the link dosen't seem to work for me.
The troops in the center should be the Mahdist Shaven Head, SC5. the Fuzzys are SC6.
I basically purchased the Mahdist Army pack, an additional pack of Camels, 2 packs of Armored Cavalry, and 1 pack of artillery. I have placed a larger order with The War Store and hope that it is being worked on by Leon! This includes British, Egyptians, a few Indians and another Mahdists Army pack plus Unarmored Cav.
There are pics of the Sudan range on the forum http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=1203.0
Will try to post more pics and batltle report this week.

I'm just finishing the packaging at the moment, so I'm hoping to have it in the post tomorrow.
Thank you very much! Hopefully I can be painting again late next week!
Currently working on re-painting 2 Egyptian companies in a later brown/khaki uniform.
Tom
We'll be sending it by courier (DHL/Fedex) so it should be over there within 3-5 days normally.
As a plug for the WarStore, Neal is great to deal with and will turn this around quickly. Unless they have another snow storm!
