I think those ruins are all from the Pendraken resin scenics range. I have some of these myself, and very nice they are too.

Less serious - I think his dog is better qualified for making ruins!

Oh yes, the frost marks on the tanks, the correct drab olive of the helmets, the impromptu look of the command bases - all the signs of the master are there.

I'd love to see those in action.

=D>

Cheers,
Aart

I can't wait to get 'em scrapping - which is one of the reasons I wanted to paint them so fast! Earliest will be the weekend though...and it'll be on a makeshift board until I can figure out the best way to do a snowy terrain cloth...

the most effective I've seen is a painting/wallpapering protection cloth form hardware store cloth, painted with 3" brush and white emulsion paint, leave tracks and roads without paint and you get that slushy coloured roads!! Then drapped over hills nd add further terrain to taste!.

Lovely winter Russians - although for a Stalingrad command stand I would be inclined to go with a manhole cover with a pair of trench binoculars sticking out.

Smelly rather than cool.

Cause you could always run the game as a dungeon crawl in  the sewers.

That could be cool, a couple of Allied 'Heroes', tracking Hitler through the sewers, fighting off the SS and attack dogs and whatnot...  :-\
