Title: Are you a wargaming Twitterer ?
Post by: goat major on 31 August 2011, 05:43:58 PM
Twitterer, tweeter, tw*tter. Whatever. Do you indulge in this pointless exercise in trivia for the benefit of your fellow gamers ?

I've just started - feel free to follow me and bore yourself into oblivion....  http://twitter.com/goatmajor (http://twitter.com/goatmajor)

I saw a comedian the other night, who came out with the line: "...Twitter's for people who can't even shut up when they're on their own..."!   :D

I've got a Facebook, but I've not delved into this Tweeting business yet.  Pendraken's got one though, which updates automatically from the news stories on the website.

If you put everything you do on twitter, what do you talk about when you actually meet people?  :-\

Email's great and I use it all the time, and my mobile is almost only ever used for texting but for twitter and face book I just can't be bothered.  I work in IT all day and the last thing I want is to spend my sparetime sat in front of a PC etc.  Which is why I only play figure games not computer games, I like the social interaction, the look of real figures and the excitement of a fistfull of dice.
