Post by: Lovstrom on 30 August 2011, 09:03:32 PM
Hello

Is there a french dragoon in the Marlburian range?
Both as mounted and infantry.

I presume you mean in the soft(stocking?) cap as opposed to the tricorn. There isn't at the moment so I would add this to my request list:

WSS - French dragoons in stocking caps mounted and dismounted.

WSS - French hussars

You just had the names for it.
To be honest I didnt think about the hussars but of cause they are needed too.
I am thinking of a French army in 10mm sp can we have them please?

Here's another thought - where are the personalities: John Churchill, Prince Eugene, Neufville, Chastenet etc.

We have used the SYW mounted dragoons, but a dismounted Dragoon in stocking cap would be useful.

Still do not understand the fascination with the Hussars of the period.  :-\

Yes, indeed. I asked the same question ten years ago. At that time there wasn't even a generic general in the range.

I ended up using the Russian dragoons (mounted and dismounted) from the GNW range. Not perfect but in 10mm better than tricorns!

The WSS French do not need any more troops.  If you bring them out Sunjester will buy them and use them against my Imperial army.

Doesn't Clib's new LOA range include dismounted dragoons in stocking caps?  Perhaps they might be compatible.

Damn.  I don't know what to object to. French WSS or Centurion Tanks.

You're not likely to meet Centurions in eighteenth century Brabant.

They'll fight as long as they are in the right hats.

Dismounted dragoons are hardly a scourge - more of a bloody nuisance. Especially when all their horses die of glanders as at Blenheim.
