Title: On the shelf
Post by: hamsterking on 21 August 2011, 02:09:48 AM
Doing a bit of sorting out and re-organising which leads me to wondering what other Pendraken goodies people have on the shelf or under the bed.

I have:
1) Darkest Africa : Matched armies for the campaigns of the Belgian Force Publique against the Congolese Arabs including Askari, Ruga Ruga, Arabs and Tribal Allies. I've got the lead on hand to produce a Masai army and have long-term plans to expand the gaming options using these core troops. The Force Publique also fought the Dervishes/Mahidists and that remains an intriguing option.
2) The War of the Pacific : Matched armies for the 1879-1884 war involving Peru, Bolivia and Chile
3) The Second War of Schleswig-Holstein : Matched armies for the 1864 War involving the Danes, Austrians and Prussians
3a) The Seven Weeks War : Added Austrians and Prussians plus a bunch of Saxons expands the forces above for this 1866 clash.
4) The Norwegian Campaign in 1940 : Matched armies for this 1940 clash including Germans, Norwegians and French. I've got the lead on hand for some British forces but may turn then to other uses- 1940 France or the Very British Civil War.
5) Giant Worms : Slated to take on opposing 6mm forces using the Future Wars Commander rule set.

Painted or not?  Project completed or not?

Completed:
Vietnam
WWII - Germans and Commonwealth
AWI

Not completed:
TYW
FPW
ACW
WWII - French and US Airborne (painting someone else's troops)
1850's Italians

Not painted:
For the completed projects I still have a few (OK, more than a few) unpainted figures laying around.
Plus I'm sure I have a few odds and ends laying around.

Some leftovers from the ECW armies I painted about four years ago; they're about to be mobilised as Swedes (1605 types). Also a lot of stray Japanese; if anyone ever makes a monk with a musket and a monk on a horse (an archer would be good too), they'll be in boot camp right swiftly.

Two Divisions of AWI Americans

2 Corp of 1870 Prussians
1 Corp of 1870 French

I don't even want to think about what's lurking in my painting top drawer. I think they're planning some kind of uprising.  ~X(

Scary..!

Not including projects that I've started [I've got loads assembled / undercoated ready for painting - here: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=2567.0], but in the raw-metal drawer:

- Colonial Sudan - British & Mahdist armies
- FPW - French & Prussian winter armies
- lots of fantasy / pulp / Cthulhu figures
- a load of stuff for AVBCW [I'm working on my West Somerset faction backgrounds & lists for BKCII]

Perhaps 5 dozen (I use regiments of 24) SYW and related figures primed and not painted.

The supply of WWII russians and germans is coming down -- except for the ordere I just placed  :-X

A good full battalion of Romanians - must get those lads moving.

FPW - on hold, but quite a few on hand.
