With soccers girls!^^
I think people would be focussing on the wrong spherical objects... ;)
There's a rather random football wargame on the market somewhere, it was on TMP a while back. :)
Did find a freebie Fanatsy one a while back - think it might have been a Wessex teaser......

Nah, it's definitely soccer - aka Wendyball - hasn't been the same since they got rid of the scrums, hacking and gouging... :d

The Beautiful Game from Ed at Two Hour Wargames?
Could have been, it was only in the last 3 months or so it was a News Story on TMP.
There's also "Corner Kick".
I have The Beautiful Game and am waiting for someone to make 10 or 15mm figures for it.
I was, and still am, a big fan of Subbuteo football
Replacing the plastic figures with smaller metal figures would be interesting although it might make them top heavy
On pain of thread hijacking I also played Subbuteo Cricket and Rugby
The one Subbuteo game I could never get my head around was Angling http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/21504/angling
