Hi
Well I cannot figure out the limber for the french. The pack comes with what looks like to parts to the limber, the first is for one set of sitting figures the next is for two sets of sitting figures. So do I use one, or both, and what is the differance?
William
Sounds like you have the caisson pack. It should contain the limber proper, with the longer projecting pole at the front. This should have a pair of figures to sit on it. Then there should be the caisson, with a shorter, thicker, projection at the front, and a trio of figures to sit on it. The limber is placed immediately in front of the caisson. It is pack FPW 18.

That definitely sounds like a caisson
Yes, it's the limber and caisson. The caisson attaches to the rear of the limber. There is a limber pack as well to which you can attach a gun.

Great thanks for the info. One more question should there be riders on what is essentially now three "seats" or benches?
Thanks
William
We only supply two sets of seated figures in each pack of 2 limbers, so there won't be any chaps for the caisson.
