Hi there,
So here it is, I got the idea on my walk to the park with my kids. We saw a small crane on four "legs" and later I draw scorpion like creature (in the background). Anyways hope you will like the end product.

Yes, it has 4 legs and spidey stag beetle head ;)
Oh and sorry for bad light on the photo :-[
Looking good Ivan, looking forward to seeing this progress. How big is the creature?
Glad to hear it. It is 32 x 32 mm in the base (legs) 28 mm tall to the root of the tail, 15 mm to the head.

Each square in the Dungeon's is 16mm, and the corridors are 2 squares wide, so this creature would fill a corridor!
dunno, is that a problem? Please excuse my ignorance :-[ This guy would have a rider so I guess he would fill the corridor... "You shall not pass" but coming not from Mr. Gandalf...

Not a problem, just something to think about. 8)
There is a bit of space at each side of the squares, so maybe 35mm from wall to wall? He would certainly be a challenge for the Heroes!
Had to squeeze ut a bit but it fits :)
new photo... soon it will look like something...

I really like this sculpt. :-bd I'm not sure if it quite fits into the Dungeon environment though.
Another question, do the legs/tail come apart? I'm just thinking from a casting perspective, it would be very difficult to put into a mould in one piece.
It was a question all along :)
Glad you like it, the legs are for now joint together with body as is tail, I guess it could be made as separate pieces after the sculpt is finished.

The rider looks really cool, and would be great as a single figure for Conan/superhero etc
Cheers,
Kev
That's really, really nice work Ivan....I think you might have to have more 'joins' than just the legs though.
Still...a lovely piece of work :-bd
Cheers - Phil.
I like this one more & more...am I the only one who'd like a brigade of these then? :d
Thanks guys :), glad you like it
