I'm looking for some figures to represent Warhammer Empire Greatswords, i.e. Plate armour, renaissance style and big swords?
would LAN3 work, or do these have no armour?

Like these ones:

The LAN3 unfortunately doesn't have armour, so wouldn't be right. But when I look at the pic above, I keep seeing this chap:

Or if that's too Eastern, what about the guy on the right, minus the crest on the helmet:

I've just found a pic of LAN3 on the computer, I'll attach it below:

Thanks Leon some interesting ideas.
I think I was going more for this style, especially the big floppy hat and slashd clothes

Thanks for the pic of LAN3 might be the best even without armour...

Definitely, if you're looking for big floppy hats, that's your man!
I use LAN3 to represent great swordman for the Empire in warmaster games. I use to treat them as Halberdiers with some veterany feature.
I think Pendraken Elizabethan, early 16 English/scot and some of the English Civil war ranges works great to represent WH Empire.
English Civil War is specially interesting to represent witchhunter army
