Why is it that if someone starts a thread "What is your favourite
- " loads of people on TMP feel the need to say "Don't play that"?
I really don't get the psychology.
Don't know, there's definitely a few oddballs. Some of them make me laugh though. The ones who dive on any news story where the company has forgotten to put what scale they're in, despite the fact that they probably have no interest in the actual product anyway. :-\
I feel sorry for some manufacturers though, who put out a perfectly acceptable product, but then it gets ripped apart by the comments. I've noticed, as a general rule, that the first 3 comments will decide the tone of the rest of the posts.
TMP? Isn't that some sort of female disorder? :-*
Oh right, I was interested in what PMT ers were :), but yep they certainly rip things apart on there.
I LOVE TMP.... but sadly it is full to the brim of professional whingers who sit in the site (more than actually playing wargames) and pick on anything they can to belittle others and show their vast superior knowledge by voicing every bit of trivia possible LOL (Makes you appreciate Pendraken Furums even more - dunnit?). Still love the site thought; I just don`t say much there or give them any ammo.

I couldn't agree more! Which is why I'm here rather more than there :D
Cheers,

Absolutely. Nail-head meet hammer. :)
I go there a fair bit as the sheer size of it means it has a huge pool of knowledge. On the flip size it has a equally huge pool of nutters. Try to stay away from the controversial posts but can't resist sometimes putting in a subtle wind up, but this seems to go over most of their heads as I've never been Dawghoused and have no stifles. If I start a thread I'll try to do it before america wakes up which seems to help on the first 3 post rule.
This is a new one on me, that is to say the TMP, not PMT - in Merseyside we have MPT - Merseyside Passenger Transport.

TMP is a great place if you feel like a vent. And sometimes folks there are very helpful.
