Hi Guys,
just wondering what size the squares on the floor are and how high the walls are too? :-\
plotting something 8->
According to Germy (see http://www.germy.co.uk/makingminidungeon.html (http://www.germy.co.uk/makingminidungeon.html)), the squares are 16mm x 16mm and the walls are 25mm high.
cheers....oooooh 16x16 was hoping it was 10 or 20 or even 15 :) that would be nice and easy :(

It was a long time ago, but I remember when making the dungeon 10mm was too small, 20mm to big. So I tested the sizes with some of the miniatures and 16mm
seemed about right. When you're the first to do something you don't automatically think of compatibility ;)
If you are making bases then 15mm is fine as it gives room to manoeuvre the miniatures.
I could have sworn blind your dungeon tiles were j-u-s-t under 18mm across Germy? :D

Surely when you get to our age with our eyesight 16mm is j-u-s-t under 18mm! :-B :D
I bought 15x15mm bases from Litko and it worked like a charm. There was a discussion and some pictures here:

Six, may be you counted the gap between tiles in your measurements and got 18mm. Without the gap, I confirm its 16mm.
I've got the 15mm ones on the website, so no worries there. I've just had another look at the Litko site and noticed they're using plywood, which explains the higher prices.

No, I didn't have the laser machine at that point, so was limited to a few popular sizes. I'll try and get a couple of pics, but they're just little squares of wood, with nice black edges!

I do have to recommend Leon's bases at this point; good quality MDF [it varies elsewhere sometimes] with a nice clean cut & perfectly squared off. Sorted. Simples. I won't go back to using other base providers now.
Nik... how much did Leon have to pay you to say that ? :)
Or may be he's holding your wife hostage ? Or worse... your beer fridge ! ;D
Anyway I'm looking forward to see these bases !
