Title: Nomenclature
Post by: Hertsblue on 14 June 2011, 11:31:07 AM
Reading through the forum one comes across hordes of initials - DBM, HOTT, FOW etc. This is fine for the old hands, but for newer members how about a glossary of abbreviations? I must admit I have to think long and hard about some of them myself. :-/

Good idea, could be a very helpful resource for people.

Most of the wargame/rules ones seem to have been covered, so I'll add a few general interwebby ones:

IMO / IMHO - In My (Honest) Opinion
YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary
WIP - Work In Progress
OTOH - On The Other Hand

And the most important...

SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed...  :D
