Greetings
Does anyone have any suggestions from existing Pendraken ranges of figures I could use for WW2 Italian colonial infantry in North Africa/IEA in 1940-1. As far as I can recall the infantry would be in a fez? Any of the WWI askaris/KAR?
Regards
Edward
I have some infantry in Fez and I think they are German East African Early Askari. Nice figures if mono-pose.
I keep meaning to put together some Lybian infantry for my 1940 Italians. I am considering some of the SCW Moroccan Infantry in tarbuch who might fit the bill.

As hamsterking says, GEA1 is in fez. Other than that, there are some fez guys in the SCW range somewhere, I'll go check to see which ones.
EDIT: Morrocan Falange Militia: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Inter-War-c18/SCW-Moroccan-Falange-Militia-sc248/ (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Inter-War-c18/SCW-Moroccan-Falange-Militia-sc248/)

Thanks everyone. Having looked at a few sources I think the Moroccan tarbuch is lowish will do well for Italian Colonial units - not sure whether to go for the summer uniform (which there's a picture of) or the Morrocan falange Leon mentioned - is there a picture of the latter?

Edward
Fezzes are cool.

I thought I had some somewhere, but it would appear not. I'll try and get some taken.

At least someone caught the reference. Did you see the recent Confidential where they were talking about Matt Smith? They were talking about the last series, and one of the producers said "[writer] said 'I'm going to Matt in a Fez', and I said don't do that, he'll never take it off, it will be glued to his head for the whole of next season, and he said "No, I've thought of that. I'm going to kill it almost immediately' "
The crew were discussing whether to open a book on how long it would take Matt to break the Sonic, and at that point the standby props man walked past...
Yep - saw that - top-notch 8)
