Hi,
Trying to get my Command, HQ and FAO bases done now for my long suffering germans based and finished.
I took some quick shots of the following.
FAO

Command

Armoured HQ
(http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l116/count_zero99uk/10mm/IMG_0631.jpg)
3 other HQ's, for inf/support or whatever.

Your opinions would be welcomed.
Seems ok for me. Is it wood?
Yes they look good. I too go for a mix of commanders and small vehicles

I sometimes do pure infantry ones, with the odd spare figure added

I'd do the FAO much smaller.

Thanks for the feedback. Get these glued down sooner rather than later then.
Full updates will be on my blog shortly.
Take care.

You can lose the bases by using short length static grass (Baccus 6mm sell some of the right length). I use flock, static grass, bushes (Woodland Scenics) on the same bases. Also I have recently discovered grass tufts by Mininatur, marketed in UK by internationalmodels .net

As do we: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Basing-Materials-c29/Static-Grass-sc238/ (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Basing-Materials-c29/Static-Grass-sc238/) :D
I've looked at the grass tufts, but it's a huge outlay to get the initial stock levels in.
I like my method

Really works well.
Looks fine except the Armoured HQ. I'd reposition the gun before the motorbike chap gets it in the face... ;)
Sorry Leon,
I bought the static before you started marketing it - seemed only fair to credit it to the original supplier. Of course, when it runs out ..........
