They say the camera doesn't lie. I was really happy with these in the flesh but they look a bit slap dash when I have photographed them. :d
Theye dont look that bad mate...maybe a brown wash on the flesh otherwise it looks fine
Cool stuff!
Have to agree; I'd say a light drizzle of Coat d'arms flesh wash (at about 50/50 mix with water) and they'll be moving from great to outstanding.
Nice work! 8)
Yep - nicely done Nosher - I'd give 'em a good washing too :)
Thanks for the feedback chaps - most helpful.
I'm making pretty good progress with these - now four seven stand units of foot done including battalion guns and two medium artillery guns and crews. Started on some cavalry and with a bit of luck and a fair wind, I might even get this army finished to deadline... :-\
The camera gets really close up. Remember that bit in book two of Gulliver's Travels, when he comments on how ghastly naked girls look to a tiny man?

Yeah, and unlike the camera the human eye is linked to a brain (usually) that smooths off the rough edges. Most people I show these pics to can't believe how small the figures are in real life. :o
3 command stands and one unit of Latta Rytarre done whilst watching the 'morning session'
One more unit of Latta Ryttare and one of Karbinrytarre to go :)
Then basing which I loathe with a passion :(
Now only basing to go. Then making a start on TYW Germans.
I'll post pics on the blog once basing is done which I'm hoping to do on Monday
Finished :) And I am quite pleased with the final result.

Not quite as lectric a pace as Nik, but two weeks from start to finish is quick by my standards. Next up some Catholics to pit against them, similar sized force which I'm hoping to churn out within the month.
Those look lovely nosher mate =D> 8)
These look great Nosher. I particularly like the yellow sleeved infantry as they really stand out, which is always cool on the battlefield.
The bases look very nice as well, which is always a bonus.
Point of note, I tried leaving a comment on your Blog, but it's restricted to team members only :(.
Nice work, agreed on the bases as well, gives them a nice finish.
Great work - especially in a fortnight. I'd be asleep over the workbench by now. ;)
