Title: Advise me, kind people
Post by: FierceKitty on 20 May 2011, 03:16:58 AM
How much could I reasonably ask on ebay for two big 6mm SYW armies, painted and based, and in reasonably good condition? There are about 60+ packs of figures, mainly Heroics and Ros. I don't want to price myself out of the market, and I don't want to find that I've given them away for a song either.

Double unpainted price is usually my limit for buying figures. If possible split them into 4 armies, as from what I have seen smaller forces attract more bids. Costs a little more but put a reserve price on so you don't sell for less than happy with.

Happy selling :)

Also split em up a bit, and put a reasonable base price on it. First means you will be more likley to sell, second means that they dont go for 99p.

I would list them 'everywhere else' before pinging them on ebay.

Ebay has been a major let down over the last few years. There's an awful lot of crap generally speaking and therefore people aren't prepared to pay a reasonable price for good stuff no matter how you list it.

Will site modertaors let you post here for example, or if you have a blog/wiki post there with links from here. You will probably get sensible offers that way

Well, I'd have advertised here first, but wouldn't that count as spamming?
