I've been thinking of a way to get images of our flagsheets up on the site, but with some kind of watermark on them to stop folk from just pinching the image. I've done a couple of basic ones, so what do people think? Can you still see what you're buying?

The watermark is a bit too big. Especially on the first sheet.
For the web images you can also reduce the dpi and the jpeg quality so that just taking the images isn't very useful.
Are these the style of images you will use for the flags? They seem a bit flat as you have large areas of a single colour. A bit of variation in shade would help the look.

I'd agree with Forbes - could you make the watermark smaller - or run it diagonally across the sheets?
I'm not worried about the 'flat' style - mine will always get creased & folded & then washed / weathered - if you've bunged in some shades it might be overkill with my treatment [which I like] - maybe you could offer both? [I love giving you more work to do ;) ;D]

Those are the current flagsheets we sell, I just 'Print Screen'ed them and whacked them in Photoshop. I can make the watermark smaller, and also run it diagonally. I'll do up some more when I get home tonight.
I've just done this quick one, then it's off home for me!

They beat me to it, but that definitely make them easier to see Leon.
Cheers,

Depends on how much I value my time. In PaintShopPro given an hour or so I could "Airbrush" out the watermark, veryt tediuos, but you wouldn't be able to tell.

PS - never done it, although I have cahnge the colour of free flags.
The diagonal watermark is fine, it is after all only a guide :D
