A very sad day.  :( We must never forget all those who gave their lives for their country and we must never stop learning lessons from history. R.I.P Claude Choules

Yes, this is a very sad day. It was easy to see the day coming (110 y.o. is no longer a youngster), but definitely not sought by any who understand the sacrifices made by his generation. Mr Choules was a living reminder of it all and will be sorely missed.
