Title: late 19th century range photos
Post by: maciek on 26 April 2011, 12:27:29 PM
It seems that Pendraken would never post photos of their figures.
Because many people doing late 19 century recently appeared on this forum, I think, that maybe WE would be able to help Pendraken in this matter.

I would propose, that everybody who bought late 19c. figures, would take the picture of each pack he has (showing one figure of every pose) and post it here with proper pack number.
This would allow us to complete the catalog of late 19c. range, and maybe would also help Leon to add pictures to the website.

What do you think about this ? Is it good idea ? Would you join the project ?

Any pics that people have would certainly be a big help, but we probably wouldn't be able to use them on the website, as we want all of the web pics to be uniform, same lighting, same blackwash style, and all at high resolution.

I know it might not seem like it, but we are doing our best to get more pictures done, but it is such a time-consuming job, done by people who already have full-time work.  We'll be adding pics of the new Napoleonic French in the next couple of days, along with some of the recent releases, and then the next one to be done will be the Sci-Fi range.

But the photos posted here would be useful for customers anyway.
Recently, there was a controversy about Saxon standard bearer. Full graphic description of available packs would be invaluable in such cases.

Definitely, like I said, any pictures would be fantastic, as it gives me somewhere to point people when they ask.

Yes please any pic of the Sudan/Egypt 1882-85 range or 1890's North West Frontier   with the reference number could be nice and helpful.

Funny you should mention that, I received the relevant figures, courtesy of Leon two days ago.  :-bd
