Looking forwards to seeing you Leon.
Graeme has a great display game on the boil with your lovely minis...should be good.
I found some pennies down the back of the sofa too, so i might well pick some bits and bobs up.

I noticed the display game on your club site when I was doing our website link last night, looking forward to seeing that one! I'll have the camera with me as well, so I'll get some good pics.
Let me know if you want anything specific bringing up!

Not really old chap.
I'm still trying to decide on Wierd World War II or AVBCW in 10mm...i might pick up some sci fi stuff if you have it (not-aliens in particular).
Not sure really...i'll be generally browsing i suspect.

We'll have the Sci-Fi army packs with us, so no worries on those, and there'll be a selection of the VBCW-style vehicles for you to peruse... :D
Yup, 'tis me that's doing the display game. It will be the defence of Foy and Nouville, nr. Bastogne, 20th December 2011.
Only Pendraken figures are being used...
The scenario is based on the one from the old Frank Chadwick Bastogne book. As for rules, well, probably Rapid Fire....depends how the mood takes me...!!!
Graeme,
Durham Wargames Group.
2011! What forces are you using?
Ha ha, whoops.....serves me right for typing something at work....I type the date numerous time every day, it's just ingrained...!!!
...of course, I meant 1944...!
Graeme.
That's it for the pre-orders, we'll see everyone at the show!

Oh, I was looking forwards to seeing Leopard 1 vs 2s on the battle report, or was it Belgium vs Luxemboug's two battalions again?

Sounds like fun, maybe I should've done that instead ;-)
Anyway, show is on Saturday so I'm at the club tomorrow night to set everything up. As I said earlier, scenario is Foy/Noville, 20th December 1944, based on 2 or 3 sources (a combination of Frank Chadwick and Bob Mackenzie).
We'll be using Rapid Fire...it's been a while, but I think it's better for conventions as it always looks as though something is happening (and Blitzkrieg Commander is a little dice heavy for some of our group).
The only house rule I'm using is 3" diameter for killzone / artillery rather than the 4" in the rules...this is just to cope with a smaller figure scale.
I'll post the scenario on our website after the show if anyone is interested.
Graeme,
Durham Wargames Group.
We'll see everyone tomorrow! We're in the main hall this year, with a massive 24ft stand!!! (Well 6ft of it is Minibits... :D)
Well, it was a great show yesterday. Best for a year or two.
Really good to see and chat with you guys at Pendraken again. Hope you had a good show too.
