Title: Chariot Period
Post by: Blaker on 17 April 2011, 05:01:42 PM
Yes I know I was being "PC" with the title.  I remember when it was called the Biblical Period - oh well   :-X

Soo how about it? We need a good 10mm range for the "Chariot Period"

Some New Kingdom Egyptians, Hittites, Assryians, etc.

Yep Yep get that chariot whip a crackin   :D

Might agree except then I'd be tempted to get a third or is it fourth EAP army.

Most of those have been mentioned elsewhere, so I've added the votes.

I am sure I did me vote for this one (range), but not in this thread.

Would be great to see minoic/mycene culture, for dungeons like king Minos and minotaurs (legend games) or more historical like Troy (mycene vs hittite)

It is a range not very common in 10mm and could be a fresh alternative of hittite/egyptian

Minoan - cool!

All quite contemporary -- it would be neat to start at the Mycenaean side of the eastern med instead of the Egyptian.

I agree. One vote by me. 10mm Troy siege could be played on reasonable surface.

OOOOH !.....More Ancients !
Though I have to admit, if Leon asks me to make them at some stage in the future, I'll be dropping big hints about me NOT making the chariots themselves....
Wheeled things !.....I hate 'em ! ;) ;D

Maggie Thatcher as a slave? Gollum as the Sun King is more likely!  :d

I sold my 15mm Hittites at Warfare yesterday. If I could find rules that I'm likely to play, Biblical (a lot of the armies didn't have chariots) would be on for 10mm. Ohh, hordes of chariots ........ lovely!

Hordes of chariots :)
Sounds really good.

Egyptians and Hittites Assyrians and Babylonians :)

But have already wished for this in another thread

Newlines tell me they're working on Assyrians for next year. Does this increase our chances of getting Pendraken New Kingdom Egyptians?

We'll be doing them eventually, but they'll be part of the Ancients revamp, so we need to resculpt a lot of the existing ranges first.
