I have recently started getting all my models ready for painting. This is quite and achievement for me. For various reasons its hard for me to keep concentration going.
Anyway, a friend of mine has suggested that I start a blog covering my trials and tribulations of trying to get things done whilst under the malaise of depression.
Its somethign ive never done, can anyone suggest how i get started in doing a blog and how easy they are to do.
Thanks.
Brian.
Try Wordpress, It's easy to use.
the other major one is Blogger - which also integrates easily if you've got a google account. You can have a simple page up and running in minutes
http://www.blogger.com (http://www.blogger.com)
Or a wiki is good too - www.pbworks.com
And don't forget the Painting Diaries sub-board here: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?board=19.0
Decided to use Wordpress as it seems to be the least painful to use.

Its a bit bare at the moment but i hope to keep it going :).
Thanks for the advice.

Cool! 8)
Can you put pics from photobucket into wordpress?
I don't really know...maybe...
If you go with Blogger you can upload them straight from your camera.
Gordon
Yeah, you can add them from URL :)
Its looking good.
looking good count :D
Cheers, trying to get the look right, i dont like all the white space on either side of the main area :(
Not sure how i can get rid of it though.
Try a different theme
I put pics on my Wordpress blog- Use the add media button. Also the pics can act as a hyperlink to Flickr (so I assume Photobucket as well).
Good stuff count: and can I applaud you on the honesty you're showing in relation to your depression?! So often we seem to shy away from the difficulties and issues that are around us and which impact on our lives...so, well done: and do shout here if there's anything we can support you with :)
Thats one of the reasons for me doing it. Its very easy to become a victim of the illness and by putting things out there it allows me to confront it myself as well as motivating me to get stuff done. My main hope is that it dosnt just turn into a "Today i did nothing i was too depressed" repeat :).
I want it to be affirming (god that sounds so american) to help me move on with things.
The support ive had here and the forums very nice community atmospher has really helped.
First blogpost about Pendraken stuff, there will be more shortly

Enjoy.
Also id appreciate any general comments here about how the blog looks and reads. My writing has allways been a bit iffy.
Thanks.
