It's normally around 3-5 days I believe, I'm sure some of the other guys can confirm that.  We have had odd packages in the past 6 months or so which have been inexplicably sent 'Surface' and disappear off the radar for a couple of weeks.  I've no idea why that is, we've asked at our Post Office and they don't know either.

Keep me informed.

I'm in the middle of The Neds, medium town. It takes about 10 days.

Cheers,

From 'Order dispatched' to the clatter of the mailbox (or ring of doorbell) should take less than a week, I would think? My last packet was sent 18/02, arrived 23/02.

I'm not entirely sure if one of the new mail carriers handles all Royal Mail packets, or if it's still TNT Post?

Had problems at work sending mail to the Netheralnds.  ON one occasion the replacement documents arrived at the same time as the original!!!

No idea if its UK or NL end it falls down

Oh I wouldn't be surprised if the snag is at our end. Since our mail was privatised, deliveries are made by 5ht form pupils who take O levels in creative cooking and world music.

Cheers,
Aart

P.S. Call me grumpy  [-(
