Title: die cast Chinook
Post by: Sunray on 31 March 2011, 05:54:11 PM
Die cast toys are a bit of a lucky dip.  Motormax has a Chinook (DS-CH47) priced at £5 in the UK and as cheap as $2.99 Stateside.
Has anyone seen one up close, and is the "fit the box" scale anywhere near 10mm (1/150) or 1/144 ?

Its described as approx 3.5" long.   I think that may be too short as Pendrakens Hury is just over 3".

I have an F-toys 1/144 scale Chinook which is about 4.25" so the Motormax is almost an inch too light.

Pity  as would have been ideal
