Does anyone have some pictures of the fishmen range, please?
I've just got some this week
I'll endeavour to get a picture up later today unless someone beats me to it.
Thank to you!
Here they are. I've included a Pendraken skeleton to give you an idea of size.

From left to right, they're the Fisman Command, with Trident, with Net and with Harpoon.
I hope they help.
Cod! Sorry to carp on, but those are salmon the most interesting figures. They deserve a plaice in anyones collection.
Sorry, I'm full to the bream with admiration.
I'll get my coat!
=)
You should go and see a therapist or perhaps a sturgeon!
They are pretty cool!
Mmmmhhh, my next army for HOTT...^^
Thank you, the pictures are well (and the miniatures too!).
capthugeca - any chance you can repost your pics please? :)
Whoops!
Sorry - a moment of plonker-hood! :-[

Thanks 8)
Actually, I`m really glad I spotted the photo here, I was about to order some Fishmen to use as Troglodytes (I want them for the start level of a Worlds Largest Dungeon conversion game). I had thought the Fishmen looked my best bet, but now I`m not so sure. Strangely, I only have Lizardmen in my collection and nothing I can easily use as Trogs... but I know I have seen something ideal in the Pendraken range, I just can`t remember where I saw it.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Cheers,
Six :D
...... Would I be looking for Tribal Lizardmen by any chance?
(edited) I want them to look as much like Cthulhu `deep ones` as possible... if possible.
There's a pic of FTL3 in this thread: http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=1167.0

Thanks Nik,
yep, those are the guys ;)
(btw, I`ll have those disks off to you in tomorrows post).
Six :)
Cool - I still need to get your discs burnt - will sort that in the AM & aim to get some coherent discs in the post on Friday-ish...[welcome to Exmoor time ;D]
Fishmen are cool - my oldest son's first HoTT army was a Fishmen army and his stronghold was Joe's Crab Shack. I think we still have that army in the barn somewhere, I think he was around 8 or 9 when he painted it. He's 19 now.

I always wish I could get HoTT, I just never did - not fully; which is kinda weird, because I really like a couple of the spin offs. Heck, I even wrote one of them myself. But somehow, the thing never fully stuck with me. I might give it another go one day and see if my old brain takes to it better the second time around. I loved its simplicity, and it`s as old school as you can get. I SHOULD love it shouldn`t I :-\
hehe, I
adore that name "Joe`s Crab Shack" :D he sounds like a cool kid 8)

Yep he "WAS" a cool kid until he turned 14 and I could never beat him again in HoTT or DBA arghhhh :D He keeps winning our state champions in HotT and DBA.
So I decided to write a HoTT/DBAish WW1 rules set so I think I can beat him since he doesnt have a clue about WW1 ;)
But I do sneak in a win every now and then but they are few and very far between.

OMG you wrote a set of HoTT rules for WW1 :o Thats so very cool Blaker. My next to do `one day is WW1: especially now I can do it in 10mm. I must say the pics I keep seeing drive me more and more towards wanting to give it a shot. I always wanted to recreate the Passchendaele campaign (thanks to Upstairs Downstairs, which really got me into it). wow, maybe I`ll get to use HoTT yet after all.

hehe, I bet you both have a ball... thats really cool :)

His Fishmen army for HoTT was the following:
Crab Riders were Riders
Lobster Chariot were Knights
Fish with Tridents were Spears
Fish with Harpoons were Shooter
Fish with Nets were Lurkers (for dry terrain)
Octopus & Dolphins were water Lurker (for rivers)
Giant Lobsters were Behemoths
Giant Crabs were Beast
And Fish with Cannon were Artillery
Nepture at first was a God but he didnt stay on table long enough and we liked the figure so he became a Hero or Paladin(?)
If I can find the box that has them I could take some pictures but then I would have to figure out how to post them to the forum :-\

I'd definitely like to see the invertebrates if nothing else - must be the ecologist in me; always had a soft spot for giant creepy-crawlies ;)
But who's the cod one out? :D

I don't think we're being very kelpful, musseling in on a Fantasy thread like this...
Thats right Leon, you need to - clam - down on these - urchins - that are just sitting on their - perch - all day waiting to find the right - angler - to hop on to this thread like an anemone :d
Now that was a bit of a stretch :-[
I`m sorry to carp on about it, but I really like the idea of a fishman army.
=)
Cod! We've haddock enough of these jokes! They've have their plaice, but the whitings on the wall!

That joke is icthyologically inaccurate cos whales are mammals, but i'll let you off since it's a fantasy thread ;)
You all make me laugh!! ;D ;D
It is sad I haven't the total mastering of english so I can't follow you on this stream!^^
Here it cames a pic of a sculture of the city where I live... Isn't it a pendraken fishmen? It is called "El sireno" that means "The marmen"
