Hi
I'm quite happy to use the WW1 French for WW2/Interwar French Infantry/Fusiliers Marins but the Chauchat is anachronistic, I know that you said way back in http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=338.msg2138#msg2138 (http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=338.msg2138#msg2138) that Snafu was delivering some masters for early WW2 French but I'm not greedy :D , I don't want a lot - just a valid LMG, the FM 24/29 please, either prone firing or advancing, please.
Cheers

Yes please as well.
I'd really like some French dragoons for that period.

The same figures could be used for dismounted motorcyclists (does this mean we need a French motorcycle combination? :D) and French paratroops, I've finally found some more information on them here - http://www.ww2f.com/western-europe-1943-1945/25361-french-airborne-troops-1935-1945-a.html (http://www.ww2f.com/western-europe-1943-1945/25361-french-airborne-troops-1935-1945-a.html)

Now I'd just have to find 1/144 models of the Potez 650:-

or the Farman 224:-

Both fine looking aircraft :o

Votes added, and we'll see what Snafu has for us.
Re motorcyclist combo, I say why not.
I understand the Porte' Dragoons were being issued with what was intended to be the new uniform which was intended for universal supply at during the sumer of 1940 (but the war and the need to clothe 4 million Poilu in a hurry scuppered that).

That Farman 224 looks like one of the transport aircraft out of the Nausicaa graphic novels. Could be where Hayao Miyazaki got the look from!

Yes and they could be armed with LMG FM 24/29 (feeble attempt to get back on topic ;D ).

Yes interwar aircraft are definitely unusual, here's another Farman, this time the Jabiru F121:-
