Hi folks,
In nearly half a century I have never posted on any forum or social networking site!
Amazing and comforting that this first effort is down to the wargaming community and my adoration for this range of figures.
I hope that I can find the nerve and the 'right thing' to say on many topics. Or at least something unembarrasing.
Anyway hi
Walter (people who know me and 'like' me call me Walt)
Hi Walt, welcome to the Forum! I'm glad you've chosen us to make your online debut, I'm sure you'll find this place friendly and helpful.
If you've got any queries on stuff, let us know! 8)
Welcome aboard. We're a friendly bunch here

Hi Walt,
Welcome aboard and to a friendly forum :D
Already feeling welcome.
And rest assured I will ask all manner of questions. That is when I can think of any....
Don't know exactly what I expected, but is quite good to know you folks are there even at this time.
Thanks for responding so quick.
Walt
Welcome Walt :-h
Hello
Hi Walt :-bd
Welcome to the forum ;)
Hi Walt
Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on breaking your duck :)
Greetings Walt.
Welcome aboard.
Thanks for welcoming me all of you.
Now lead me to the topics.......
Where to start. That's my problem. Its like going to a convention, all those new periods and figures and gaming bits, etc.
Not quite into the 'dice' fetish, thing tho - Its a ncie bit of grass coloured baize that go for.
Do you paint your own stuff Walt?...If you dont then I could use the crap joke of
I paint my own figs but Walt Disney
Sorry I'll go now
Hi Fenton, someone on my own level, I honestly do appreciate that. I often feel like Chandler in friends - where he waits for people to pick up on things or just no one gets it.
On the down side, I do paint, a bit!
Just realised what I've put in my last post.
I sound really sad knowing that much about Friends.
If you hear a couple of shots and a heavy thud, I'll just be shooting myself.
A couple of shots?
Does that mean the your aim is crap and first one would miss?
Pretty much yep.
Bit of a Monty Python fan too!
Hehe, I think you'll fit in fine... :D :-bd
Hi Walter. =D> :-h =D>
I won't call you Walt yet as i don't know if a like you. You might be scary or wierd. :-B
:D
Welcome to the forum old chap. Its a nice friendly place here...no Trolls as yet so you should be safe. Watch out for Nik though; he'll whip out his 'Keira Knightly' at the slightest provocation...

Welcome to the forum Walt!
Commission - its difficult not to know about Friends when E4/C4/More4/T4/E4+1 et al seem to beam it endlessly into our brains
Beginning to feel very at home on this forum. Lots of likeminded people. A little off the wall. (That is, of course, just a kind way of saying you're all nuts!). Anyway though...Any more Keira, Nik?
How do you all feel about Baize? Green obviously!
And has anyone seen my camel?
I have many camel, I can sell you one....much cheapness
Yep. Definitely my sort of people.
These camels - how many for my daughter?
BTT3A ... Only me and Walt will know what that means! Been a long time old chap. I see Harwood bloke has been here ....

Message to Dave TOIT, TO, ST and finally Trainer! Old hand....
How are you doin?
Too long. Any word from Baz?
I didn't know 10mm was your scale?
Just so we don't upset the others with the old pals bit -
Yes, Nik and the others have made me very welcome. Especially with that personal posting of some of his Keira!
I've found the others nik. Didn't take me too long to find the totty pages. :o
I feel so many questions and comments brewing (oh no, sorry that was just gas), such a wealth of experience and knowledge to tap into.
WWII first I think. See you all in the forum.
What happened to poor Walt in all that lot? I was beginning to think I'd hit the wrong button. Anyway - Hi Walt! Don't fret; I'm 58 and been wargaming since I was 13 via Airfix, Hinton Hunt, Minifigs, Mike's Models, etc, etc, before I discovered 10mm. Started with Wargames South and Pendraken FPW about 18 years ago. Since expanded into Austro-Prussian, Franco-Austrian, SYW and High Medieval, which are going to become Warmaster condottiere. Someone else down the club has now got into 10mm Crimean. What periods are you interested in?

You can actually see the tow bar leaving the front wheel to the tractor vehicle. That implies to me that she does actually 'ride' it, even if it is with assistance!
But who really cares. She'd look great riding anything - with or without assistance ;)
Damn it took a woman to beat my 31 replies!!!
Well done ms.sixsideddice.
Thank I've still got the most views though........ watch this space
