We've just had the following information about Wappinshaw:
It will now take place on 4th June 2011 from 10.00am to 4.00pm at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Buchanan Street, Glasgow.
This is a prestigious city centre venue. It has single level access, in house catering, superior lighting, disabled access and other advantages. It is adjacent to one of Glasgow’s main shopping centres. It is also very convenient for all public transport, being next to Buchanan Street bus station and within walking distance of the subway and Queen Street and Central stations. There are two car parks nearby.

Get blagging!
Reasons to go... its probably the last meeting and I need to add the argument to make it an online meeting, they always book rooms that have no video conferencing facilities (HOw much on the bet do you think they will this time >:( )
I will be cheap and stay in Grotty hotels, last one cost me £50 for two nights including breakfast :)
It will get me out of their hair for two days :)
Might work ;D ;D
Well request is in, lets see if I can persuade them lol :D
Does anyone in the Glasgow area know of any parking near to the Royal Concert Hall?

Parking in Glasgow? Normally one of the locals will "look after yer car for £5 mister ..." ;D
The lady at the top says I can go :)
As for car parking, nearest I can think of is at the university, but it isn't right next door :)
Actually park Inn car park is opposite
Parking right next door in the Buchanan Galleries or across the road at the Buchanan Street bus station.
There is some on street parking bays but I would expect them to be busy and expensive.
Or - I'll watch your car mister only £10.00 (inflation)

Cheers guys, the organisers recommended somewhere, but there was a 2m height restriction, and our van's never gonna get under that! I'll have a wander on Google Street View to check those out.
WIll have a think on what I want, but definately want some of the palm trees please

Righty then, they've actually sent me the wrong ones, so the 50's are currently unavailable. I do have a slightly different variation of 70's though, with a wider canopy? I'll have all the trees with me anyway, so you can pick and choose which ones you fancy.
On the Samurai Apes, pop an email through to the Pendraken address ( d.pengilley@btinternet.com ) with what you'd like, and I'l bring them up.
Just a reminder, we'll need any pre-orders sending in by this weekend please!
Leon

We're leaving Pendraken HQ at about 4am on Saturday morning, aiming to hit Glasgow about 7:30-ish hopefully. I'll pop you a text through when we're near the venue.
No worries Leon, will have the phone on. Am staying at George square Premier inn so not far away. Survived ferry, now on a train :)
