I attended Historicon (Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA) from Thursday afternoon to Saturday morning. A bit abbreviated for my liking but much, much better than nothing. Managed to get in some good gaming, quality shopping and lots of examining some beautiful games. The theme was the American War of Independence although there were plenty of games from other genres.

I didn't see much in the 10mm scale, a few random packs being sold in the flea market but there were some 6mm games and I managed to purchase some 6mm renaissance figures. Having experienced both, it is very interesting to compare and contrast US and UK shows. I don't think one is better than the other, they are just different.

Thanks for this report and pictures.
Agree that the Lancaster venue is not at all bad. I liked Fredericksburg as well but a bit too far south for many NE gamers.
Fine set of photos
Nice report, great photos. Thanks.
Great photos. Great report.
Some serious sci fi going on to travel back from the year 20266.
Do they have hoverboards and flying cars yet? Do people live under the sea?
Did they finish the high speed rail link to Manchester?
All these questions. :D
QuoteDid they finish the high speed rail link to Manchester?
I think we've moved from sci-fi to fantasy! :d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d
Good catch, I didn't even notice the year given. Good to know Historicon is still going eighteen thousand years from now.
I love these types of typos! 💖💖💖
