Great report! Soon be out of range of HMS Fury though!  ;D

Thanks Will :) ! Yep, no support from HMS Fury from now on. Let's hope the Regt de St Hyacinthe can more than make up for the loss...

Out of range of HMS Fury? not a problem when you have various cruisers and battleships operating just offshore....I'm sure the French-Canadians would be very pleased to have a bit of NGFS from HMS Warspite or Rodney in their next game  :)

Thank you for taking the time to write up your campaign games so comprehensively Steve J....very inspirational and well written  :-bd

Thanks Pierre the Shy and glad you enjoy my write ups :) ! A for the bigger battleships, AFAIK they were used against the bigger defences such as the Hillman bunker system etc. I've not read of any real naval support once they got some miles inland, but will be re-reading my books just in case!

As you out-range the navy, then more Royal Artillery options become available as there is space to deploy them!

Historically the Artillery struggles to get off the beach, having to deploy there and then provide fire support. In my campaign, the quick win in the first game has minimised this bottle neck so they have full Artillery support moving forward :) .

I think I was thinking slightly longer term - once you've got a couple of AGRAs available for support!

But a nice campaign rule where battlefield success unlocks support earlier than it would have been historically available.

I dread to think the devastation that an AGRA stonk would cause in BKCII. There are some options for this in the British NWE list, but it's almost nuclear in its effects!
