All,
You've seen my summer Soviets, now check out their winter brethren. Like the summer guys, these were bought in two different lots off Ebay. The first lot was actually from the professional painter, Kings Colours, whom I've bought several sets from. The other lot is actually the same one I referenced in the summer Soviets post; I basically took half the guys from this lot and finished them for summer, and the other half for winter. Ultimately I ended up with only one anti-tank rifle team for the winter group, but I had a couple ATRs from Plastic Soldier Company lying around, so I did them up to add to this force.
I didn't do any real painting in this force, just touching up the paintjobs on the guys in the second lot, and finishing their bases.

Three men with SVT-40 automatic rifles, one with a panzerfaust. If you took a hard look at the chest of the guy on the far right you can see he's got a medal pinned there. Pretty cool.

A couple men with PPsh-41s.

A pair of riflemen with short rifles (carbines?), definitely not your normal Mosin-Nagant.

A Maxim machine gun team.

And an anti-tank rifleman freezing his buns off lying in the snow.

So, pretty cool, but more work needs to be done. I'd love to have another machine gun, and I absolutely need some guns to go with this force, be they 45mm or 76mm (or both, like the summer force). I also want to get some M1927 short 76mm guns for summer and winter; once I've got all that I think I'll be set.
V/R,
Jack
Cold.
Really good
Thanks, Will.
