Just wondering what people do when hunting for 2nd hand and out of production minis
I've been on the look out for some magister militum halflings for a while with little success
I'm only on here and the lead adventure forum is there anywhere else that's worth keeping an eye on?
Ebay would be a good place to look - you can setup a search and if it gets results you will be emailed - which can be useful for obscure stuff like this.
Tbh I didn't even know MM did halflings. How many do you need, as the Copplestone range has the LoTR gang - well not quite the LoTR figures, just a similarly themed set of figures...
Have you tried contacting MM - I know they have kind of closed down but not sure how total this is?
I'm looking for several units worth :D
They did quite a few in 10mm inc pony riders archers swordsmen and spear
I already have the copplestones earmarked for heroes
Didn't know you could setup a search
MM are definitely shut
Have you tried evilbay?
I don't know whether Baccus have bought the fantasy range, though they do have MMs historical ranges. https://www.tenthlegion.uk/

They haven't so far I thim MM we're looking for around 15k for the fantasy range
The MM buyer only purchased the historicals, so the Fantasy ranges are still available. The price was too much for us unfortunately.
While Hinds Figures has most of their used figures on eBay, their site may still be worth a look:

Likely you are already aware but they have all scales, all periods (including fantasy) mostly painted but some bare metal castings. You can sometimes find obscure figures. The site is well organized so easy to check.

It'll be a shame if the range disappears

I knew of him on Ebay but that site is much easier to navigate
Thanks
Just be sure you know what you are buying from Hinds Figures. My friend bought what he thought was a painted army, it was actually a mixed collection of figures from different manufacturers, painted and based in differing styles put together as an "army" because they were of the same period and nationality.
When he looked closely at the photos on the website he could see the issue. So just check carefully.
I hasten to add I am not suggesting any attempt by Hinds to behave in a dishonest manner. My friend got what he had paid for, it was just not what he was expecting Just to check what you are buying
Already noticed on ebay the labeling is a bit off on some of the stuff.
Has anybody mentioned Colonel Bill's yet?
https://www.colonelbills-store.co.uk/
They run an exchange for second-hand minis.
The website takes a bit of work to negotiate.
On a lucky day, they may have precisely what you need.
They found me a nice set of Maccabean Priests which I converted to Abysinnians.
