Guy I share an office with is Dutch.
Me - Why is there a red dot next to your name on Outlook?
Him - I leave my 'Occupied' indicator on.
Me - Well, you're Dutch, you are used to being occupied by the Germans.
Him - How do I contact HR?
Ouch!
We always suspected that HR put Adderall in our food.
HR .... or Human Remains as we knew it, back when I worked for a living!
Hans Reicke?
(He wasn't serious... at least I hope he wasn't! ;D )

I hope not. In the current climate you would be dismissed and he would get £95,000 compensation for the racist comment and the damage to his mental health.
At least he wasn't German and you didn't ask " Are you going to Belgium for your holidays this year?"

Poland first.
I briefly worked on a project that included in the team a German and a Dutch member.
In a rare moment of downtime, waiting for a server to crunch a couple of large files, we got to talking about our plans for the upcoming holiday weekend.
The German guy announced that he was taking some annual leave as well so that he and his wife could meet his parents on holiday in Holland.
Without missing a beat the Dutch lady said words to the effect of,"Perhaps you could ask your parents to bring my father's and grandfather's bikes back with them."
Instant ice in the air!
Ouch!
This made me laugh out loud ;D

Depends
I once attended an employment tribunal involving alleged racism and the first thing the the tribunal judge said was that he wasn't " interested in racism". Which one would have thought would have disqualified him from the tribunal
