Bad Squiddo Katherine Hepburn, from Annie's Community Miniatures fame.
When you read up about her WWII early life, she was something of a bad arse, and then her UNICEF work was incredible too. My mum loves her work especially Robin and Marian, so this is part of her Mother's Day Present.

Annie had her sculpted in her iconioc 'Breakfast at Tiffanty's' dress.

She even has the cat on her shoulder

So, happy mother's day Pin!
I think that is Audrey! Katherine is in the Lion in Winter, not Robin and Marion. Both amazing films, by the way!
You are, of course, right Mollinary!
D'oh!

Two great films, 4 great actors.

Very true!
The Lion in Winter came up in conversation a couple of years back, with a couple we know (who "cultural" taste runs more towards reality TV).
"We watched that film, a waste of time. Nothing happens, it's just talking!" :o ~X( :'(
Ah, but what talking!
Hepburn's memoires contain a rather sweet reference to her having a car breakdown in the middle of darkest America; someone stopped and picked her up to drive to a nearby town. She says he kept remarking how she looked just like Katherine Hepburn, but refused to believe she actually was. I hope she sent him an autographed photo later.

The classic variant of this celeb story involved (celebrity name here) entering a look-alike contest, and failing to win.
Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe are classic examples.
Sounds like the way people kept mistaking me for Sean Connery, back in the day.
