My painting hit a brick wall for mush of the autumn in 2024, right up until Christmas. Since then it seems to have returned and I have been pleasantly surprised with what I have achieved in the past month. So I am starting this topic in the hope that I can maintain the momentum for the rest of 2025. :-\ https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2025/01/assorted-mostly-fantasy-painting-in.html?fbclid=IwY2xjawIG_bVleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHeVGj7bl-vpLZSe_sRmWCAP32Qw7sMdFyqM4So_dt4bPNlFl55P9TwBmZg_aem_QrcCFAR12JhF6ZbyzKqLbg

Mine is also in the doldrums after painting 14th army Sikhs and support. Essentially everything in two tones of green

Nice work Graham. 8)
The paint pen troll (with a wash) works well. A number of people are reporting good results with these.
I did think the snake model was painted using pens, but I assume that is done using contrast paints?

That's right, but I intend to have a go at something more colourful with the pens soon.
Really please to have got back into the swing of things after June's necessary pause https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2025/08/painting-in-july.html
Including some nice terrain for Middle Earth and other fantasy settings

Excellent work all round Graham 8) !
Really like the paving stone road! Reminds me of one I once drove on in Wales (or here for that matter).
Thank you very much gents!
Wot they sed :-bd =D> :-bd =D>
Nice stuff :-bd
Especially like the squad of Ned Kellys 8)
August's output. More of a rebasing month rather than painting. I find rebasing large numbers of minis a chore, but the result was worth it. https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2025/09/painting-in-august.html

Good effect on the snowy bases, effort was well worth it
I don't mind basing, it's the painting I hate.

Those are some cool figures, I like them.
I don't think you should be beating your self up about not painting when you've been on an overseas family visit.
November's offerings, actually with some 10mm historicals amongst the 28mm stuff. https://grahamsgaming.blogspot.com/2025/11/painting-in-november.html

Very nice.
I liked the WOTR figures; having painted quite a few myself it's always interesting to see how others have approached them. Like me, you've used circular bases for the command bases; something I tend to do whether the rules specify round bases or not.
I also rather liked the snow effect on the buildings. was this moulded on the items or did you add it yourself?
Looks great.
The phrase 'Mark Orcs territory' took me a second to decide dure to our mutual friend

My eyes aren't what they used to be, so I rarely appreciate thumbnail pictures properly.
This one is stunning.
A fabulous contrast between the building and the ice.

Thanks very much! The snow and ice was all moulded on the building.
