Title: 28mm 20th Century Fantasy
Post by: Last Hussar on 24 December 2024, 12:09:45 PM
Does anybody do 'Modern Wizards' etc, that is OBVIOUSLY a magic caster, but in jeans and trainers.

Think you are going to have to do a conversion there although the now discontinued Warlord Dr Who figures might do you.

Me, convert? Both sides would be misshapen blobs...

Try looking in the Hasslefree Miniatures ranges - they might have something appropriate: https://hfminis.co.uk/

You might find something in Crooked Dice's offerings or Reaper's Chronoscope or Savage Worlds ranges. Have a look at CP Model's Urban Rioters, there might be some thing usable there, I think there is a pack of "Rioters Gesturing". You could also try searching for 28mm Zombie Survivors and see if there is anything usable.

You could design one at HeroForge.

Hero Forge - a "design your own 28mm scale mini" website. You can also colour it, download the .stl file, get it printed through Hero Forge partners or print it yourself (aka get a mate to do it).

Not cheap but if there's a figure you really, really want and no one makes it ...

When I say not cheap - a single full colour plastic printed 28mm human size figure sent to the UK would see you get 2 cents change from $60. An .stl file of the uncoloured version $7.99

I love playing with the HeroForge generator. Helps me visualise characters sometimes.

Here's another modern magic user - casting a flame spell from his wand, whilst protecting the Mystic Jade Balloon Animal.

They print it for £4.99.

Never done it, so can't comment on the quality.
