I'm currently having a massive clear out of virtually all of my old games and figures.
I've found a very helpful local chap who has been taking everything, and selling them on eBay.
This is saving me a whole lot of hassle (and work.)
I've found my old selection of Osprey books* and was wondering what the going rate for those is. (per book)..£3 or £4 ??
I'm not intending to sell them through the forum.
I'll just sell them all to Matey...but at a price that he'll still be able to make a profit...and he'll probably sell them all in a single batch, which saves him on postage.
Cheers - Phil.
*I'm pretty sure one of those is Leon's..which I'll send back to him. :D
A quick look on ebay shows the average sold price on Buy it Now for around £8. The Buy it now is just a for sale style selling with a fixed price not an auction.
Some Ospreys are quite valuable as they have been out of print for some time. But you would have to look them up on the internet.
If you both trust each other, just give him the books to sell and split the money made.
The assets are yours, but he's doing the work, so 50/50 or 40/60 or 60/40, whatever - work out between you what you think is fair.
Wot Raider said. I buy Ospreys as and when I need them, then offload unwanted ones to a local hospice charity. (You never know what youngster one might entice to the side of light!)
We ARE basically doing a 50/50 split...which we're both happy about ! ;)
