Last night's Xenos Rampant bash, my undead vs Martyn's space orcs.
Sending zombies for supples, not a great plan!

Looks good and fun
Crazy game!
Some of the random traits in the Rampant series can be a bit random!
Feels your zombie hoard was rather lacking in volume? One thing you normally get with zombie is numbers. Do you think XR points / traits work to stat up zombies?
One of my favourite rule sets

Well, if they had managed to actually activate, they would have been awesome I'm sure!
But at 3 points per unit, they were dross.
Very cool and a great set of rules too 8) !

As long as they feel right - then that is the key bit. It's hard to tell from a single battle report, to me it just felt there wasn't enough zombies compared to Ork numbers.
To me Zombies are a tar pit unit, they just get in the way, and absorb hits, tying up enemy units for turns whilst they hack through them. And perhaps causing some damage to the enemy in return. Felt in this game they just got thumped by the Orks, more like Milita or Civilians than zombies. But that is just from my quick read of the battle report - which might not be how they actually feel across games.
Nice to see you are back on form, Will! :d
There were 45 zombies on table in three units, they were just too busy milling around being brainless to get organised
