Starting out on Danes and Saxons using the superlative LoA range, led me to wonder if there were any plans to rework the GNW ranges to a similar standard.
In a perfect world Clib is the sculptor to take on this task as it would then roll on from the LoA range.
P.s whilst dreaming of the impossible, any chance of some varied poses for the Polish Winged Hussars and Pancerni, plus Vienna campaign pike and musket/axe troops to stretch the poles to the LoA period?
Yes I know it's "world on a stick", but thought I'd at least ask 😉
Keep up the brilliant work 👍
Welcome on board Mr J and it's always good to ask!
Welcome. :-h

Hello and welcome

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for the requests too. The GNW could do with some work so there'd be two options there:
- Revamp some of the codes (cavalry especially) and add some new types, but this would be a Tony job to keep the sculpting style consistent.
- Make a completely new range, which could potentially be something that Clib might be interested in. He did the Warfare Miniatures range in 28mm, so is familiar with the period.
I don't want to disparage somebody's work, but I feel Clib really is the choice to develop a potential GNW range. His work on the LoA is simply stunning. It's on another level.Even if we had to crowd fund him away from the 28's 😎,so whatever it takes ...... I'd opt for Clib. I'd buy a lot.

Slight confession to make, due to personal IT issues I couldn't access the forum as previous incarnation Dannyboy. So had to sign up again. However thankyou to everyone for the welcome, very much appreciated.
Busy painting GNW Russians, infantry are lovely. : 😻 8)
They are somewhat limited in posing though. If redone,a simple flagpole for the standard might be a better option to enable you to use a printed flag. At this scale, the flags are a big part of the visual spectacle.
Whilst well sculpted, the flags are somewhat lost.
Ball the best with the painting 👍
Agree about the flags

A new GNW range would be very welcome, especially if it cover the smaller states involved
