I'll be helping with the Oxford Wargames Society display game at Colours next Saturday. If any of you other Forum denizens will be there, please do drop by - it'd be good to put faces to frivolous emails.
I'm aiming to go so hope to see you there.
Edward
I'll be missing it for the first time in many years, as I will be touring Ancient Macedonia, at least those parts in modern Greece, including Pella and Vergina. Really sad, and happy, at the same time!
Keith Flint and I expect to be there, so will drop by for a chat :) .

It'll be grand to see you all again! (Andrew, sorry to miss you.)
Chris
I shall be there - 1st time in many, many years
I am 'competing' in a 15mm 'Hordes of the Things' competition - running out my trusty 'Riders of Rohan' army again (just because I didn't manage to get my Grateful Dead 'End of the World' Tour army completed in time :'(
But do please come & cheer on Theoden, Eomer, Eowen (& Merry) and Gandalf, defenders of the Mark :D
Apparently we are playing near the Bring & Buy (get thee behind me satan! :d )
I'll try to remember to pop by and say hello. Good luck in the comp and try avoid the rugby scrum, aka the B'n'B...
I shall be there with my shopping lists.
Already going to be an expensive day, with chunky packages to collect from Pendraken and Warbases.
A report on the Colours show can be found on my Blog:

Thanks for sharing the report Steve - great to see lots of games, and I really appreciate you snapping the info card or rules for each one, gives some great context.
There are several really impressive games, but there were a couple that are just a cloth on the table with next to no terrain - feel a bit underwhelming for a show. But I suppose no harm in showing what can be done quickly and simply, vs something that is a lot of effort to get to the visual spectacle.
One of the things we talk a lot about as a group of friends, is showcasing all aspects of the hobby, from the simple Cannae game through to the detailed Raesvki Redoubt, so new entrants to the hobby can see where you can start from and what you might be able to achieve.
Thanks Steve, some interesting thoughts as well as good pictures :)
You're welcome Paul :) .
Thanks for your report and many pics, Steve. I also compliment you on taking the time to photograph rules covers, signs, etc.
Gah - wanted to go but woke up Saturday with a terrible 'cold' type of thing, and have felt crap ever since.
I made a point to take photos of the signs Guy, not only as an aide memoire for me, but to give as much info as possible to those viewing the Blog. It certainly made it easier for us to now what was going on etc, especially on the more popular table.
Thanks for sharing, Steve.
